Urban Pleasures, Suburban Treasures.
You'll find it all in... Lincoln Hill
Bound by James St., Teall Ave., Hawley Ave., and Elm Street, Lincoln Hill is
a mostly middle-income, single family residential area with a few mom-and-pop
grocery stores, corner taverns, churches and apartment houses sprinkled in.
The centerpiece of the neighborhood is Lincoln Park, with its magnificent view of
Syracuse from its pinnacle.
The Lincoln Park and St. Vincent de Paul Church, which also dates to the 1890s, are landmarks
that define a neighborhood that has been given the name Lincoln Hill. It
takes in about 1,000 households between James Street and Burnet Avenue, east of Teall Avenue.
